Lithuanian,Spanish,Swedish school partnership projectThe project " Addressing the Energy Crunch – Every Little Action Counts -" aims to raise awareness among students, staff, parents and the wider community of the need for proactive behaviour in energy conservation within the framework of international measures for protecting the environment. It seeks to educate, promote proactive behaviour and initiate practical steps to make a positive, measurable difference to our school environments and our local communities. On the basis of a needs analysis, we will design a syllabus with practical lessons and activities on energy conservation and energy-efficient behaviour. These activities will enable schools to adopt environmentally friendly practices that will be disseminated to a wider community to promote individual and collective responsibility for caring and preserving the environment.

The last sad moments, it’s time to leave home… Everybody is inviting each other for a visit, promising not to forget each other and continue friendship. We had nice six meetings and good two years of project activities. All students are more confident with their English and communication skills by now.
It was pouring in the morning so we had quickly to change the plans and the visit to the One Park turned into the visit to the Aqua Park, where students could enjoy warmth and have fun with water activities. Later on we visited Gruto Park and gained some knowledge about Lithuania’s history. Tired but happy we returned back…
We had lots of fun while trying different crafts, some were suprised they succeeded quite well.
Today we have finished blogging our impressions and have created tests with quibblo about the environment. Here are the links to the work done. We’ve also finished recording the song.
We left Marijampole at 13:00 pm. On a big bus we went to the Vilnius air port to pick up the Swedish students and the teachers. Then we visited Vilnius old town, we had something to eat. At 17:00 pm the tour guide came and showed us the old town. Everyone liked it very much, but it was very tiring. We had free time after. At 21:05 we went to the air port again to meet the Catalans. At 23:00 pm we were back in Marijampole.
Jennie and I woke up at 6:40 am, got ready and went to school. We went to the 5 classroom and had getting to know activities.

He’s not perfect but he tries to do things the best he can.
But the important thing about JOAN is that he always tries to make people happy.
